This custom epoxy flooring was created for the customer who lives in Tampa. He desired to have a cobra logo placed on his garage floor, because he loves his Cobra car and wanted a garage floor themed after his vehicle. So this logo was embedded in a full polyaspartic flooring system. We prepared the floor by diamond grinding the entire surface, and by fixing cracks and divots with a two-part epoxy filler. Once the floor was prepared, the first coat of polyaspartic was applied and 1/16 inch flakes were broadcast on to the surface.
How It Works: Our Tampa Concrete Flooring
This coating was allowed to cure and was followed by the first coat of clear polyaspartic that the logo was embedded into. We squeegeed and back rolled the polyaspartic over the decorative flakes and placed the logo on the concrete floor centered toward the front per the customer’s request. Once the first coat of polyaspartic cured, we came through with one more coat of polyaspartic over top of the entire concrete floor to create a seamless glassy look.
